Payment & Deposits

Initial Assessment – In Person

A non-refundable reservation deposit of $50 is due within 48 hours of scheduling your Initial Assessment. You will receive an invoice for this deposit through email. The remaining fee can be paid with cash, check, or card when we meet.


Virtual Assessments & Consultations

Payment is due within 48 hours of scheduling your appointment.


Family Coaching

  • Payment for ongoing consultations is due by or at your first appointment.
  • Packages must be used within 6 months of purchase. No refunds will be given for unused sessions.

Board and Train

Payment for board and train services is due when services are scheduled. Non-refundable if cancelled less than 7 days before your dog’s scheduled stay for non-emergency reasons.


Boarding

Payment is due when your dog is dropped off. A $50 non-refundable reservation fee may apply to new boarding clients.

Refunds & Rescheduling

Refunds

  • Refunds are given in case of emergency (reviewed on an individual basis), if I overestimate the number of consultations needed to reach your goals, or if I cannot meet with you as planned.
  • Refunds are not given if you choose to stop training for non-emergency reasons outside of my control after sessions have been booked.
  • Notify me within 48 hours of a provided service if you are not satisfied with the service you received.

Rescheduling

  • Consultations may be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance.
  • Rescheduling of appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice is not guaranteed and requires you to call or text me directly at 517-630-6009 to discuss options.

Emergencies, Illness, Inclement Weather

I understand that genuine emergencies and illness occur. Please reach out to me directly at 517-630-6009 via text or phone call if an emergency prevents you from attending your session with less than 48 hours notice.

For the safety of myself, clients, and all clients’ pets, we will reschedule if anyone living with you, your pet, or myself, has a contagious illness.  Please call or text if this needs to be decided on short notice or if your pet is displaying symptoms of a contagious illness.  We will resume meeting once the risk of transmission has passed and/or when your veterinarian has confirmed that your pet is cleared for activity.

We will reschedule if driving conditions are unsafe.  Outdoor consultations will be re-scheduled for lightning, ice, or hard rain.

Vaccinations and Health

Pets must be up to date on vaccines as directed by your veterinarian.

Pets in training are required to be clean, healthy, and vaccinated with no apparent fleas, ticks, worms, etc.
